Its the end of the year!
This year is too fast to even begin with and it's heartaching to watch it leave.
Of course its the "time we've all been waiting for".

This year I felt closer and the same time further.

I admit, I dont think I've been an amazing friend.
Im sorry if I have negelected or disappointed any of you.

But hey 2009 is a new year, and a new start & I hope to be one.
This year has left me many questions unanswered but after much thought Im sure everything will be fine.
I take back any things I have said or done.

Last year I wrote a little summary of what i’ve dont that past year.
Post here.

Last year i celebrated my New Year's with these 3 best friends.

This year we had so many birthday celebrations !

This year i sat Selero Shots for the first time.

When i went Genting with 5 Bakti

I went to Penang! with BRATs

I was in the EXCO Pengawas and honestly i miss it.

Every bit of it.
4 painful years of it. :)

This year was the last year we (form 5's) got to be in the school team!
The founders of this whole team thing ok!
Its been 4 years too!

This year i HAD a longgg hair that nearly reached my ass.

and i snipped it all away for the first time.

This year we finish SPM (!!!!)

& I joined the best group of teens ever in BRATs Sabah.

I had a blast celebrating Christmas at my place.

Maybe some other time when i feel nostalgic.

So am i contented to what i've accomplish in 2008?
In ways yes,
In many other ways no.

I know i could have done much much better.
But i can say that I enjoyed this year alot with the people in it.
& its so nice to see people maturing and growing.

I remember when i was in form 1 and browse throught Friendster,
I saw Lynette's profile saying grad class of '08.
at that time it seem pretty dam long away.
But look, we're here.

Usually i can predict what to expect of the coming year, because well its just school right.
How much different could it get?
This coming year is definitely going to be different.
I really do not know what to expect but im absolutely looking forward to it.

We always joked around about how we would laugh at each other 10 years from now.
so 9 years to go!

I have a feeling its going to be a good year :)

Changed my blogskin again if you’d notice.
I realised the other was too wide for my liking..

Anyways Im feeling a tad bit um aggitated (randomly)
So dont bother reading if you dont like my occasional (or frequent) opinionated post(s).

Of course i would like to state it clearly now that I am writing this in no means to offend any particular person.
I am only writing this in my general view.

So lets say you have a friend,
And, lets say.. she has the fairest cleanest smoothest complexion you’ve ever seen.
You on the other hand arent so lucky.
Infact you probably heritade the bad gene pool of skin texture.

So pop! One day she grows a pimple.
And she starts going on about this endless rant about how ugly she looks and bladiblabla to you.
Saying stuff like now she looks ugly etcetc.

You know some people are like that.
What would you expect your friend to reply to you?
& obviously by complaining to her you’d expect a reply no?
So what is she suppose to say,
“Oh my! You do look ugly” (????)

Or lets say she’d be a nice friend and tried to console you and say stuff like,
“nah i think my complexion is still worse than your’s”

Then it would leave you in the spot and you’d have to cook up some lie telling her, “nolah....-”

Seriously, do you really expect praises from another person so you could feel better?
By bringing any similiar topic like that you indirectly expect a praise right.
Like complaining how fat you are to a friend who is much bigger than you.

Why not complain to some else who say, have better skin or is prettier or is much skinnier than you.
Because that would only make you feel worst.

If you already knew this why still go up to a friend and expect her to throw down herself for the sake of consoling you.

Sure we occasionally do it unintentionally or meant it in a joking manner.
But we’d probably do it too much unintentionally it has already became intentional.

Generally i do find it rude and irritating.

25th December 2008;

Darren drove over so we could go deliver our Christmas presents to people,
Halfway i was starving so we opt to go eat first, Strawberry Fields.
It drizzled/rained so we decided to stay in instead.
Time flew by and we were late for the get together.

Arrived at Starbucks,
Ordered drinks and got comfy on the couch while playing Uno.

But the game of the night was Ludo.
We went nuts playing Ludo.
We even played two rounds because Lillian came so we started again.

We had a deal,
the losers had to do something;
In the end the winners too.

Taipan was really quiet because it was almost 12am and also it was a public holiday.
Still i tell you,
People were staring.

Such a bad idea to bring the umbrella down.

Yesterday we had a small get together mainly for Christmas and to bid these two NS people farewell for 75days.

This year i think we click well and hanged out much much more in our little groupie,
especially in class with the others.
We thought yesterday would be our last time seeing them,
but spontaneously and very last minute i got to see them for the last time (again) today.
I know its only three months, but you can really feel the thud.
It was especially sad to say goodbye when we had to go back.

We will miss you both!

Also we feel the thud because those two up there are our "transporters", the two people that you can definitely count on when you need transport :P
So now you see us more at home. haha!

but yeah, I get really emotional although they keep telling me its only 3 months and its not like they're going to die or anything.
*touch wood (actually why touch wood?, why not bricks-seriously why?)

Christmas has been this worldwide and well known celebration;
Not only for Christians-

Alot of people have this way of thinking that Chinese New Year is all about the red packets and Christmas is all about the gifts and presents.
Its way way much more than that.

Im not sure if i can portray Christmas in words,

Do you celebrate Christmas because everyone else does?
Are you in it just for the presents and food and all that?

How much do you know about the story behind Christmas?

Its my favourite festival of year;
To me its been all about sharing and giving;
I can honestly tell you that I've saved up to a few hundred solely for Christmas this year.
I am not saying all this to praise myself or sound typical.

Today my Christmas started off amazingly.
Infact this whole pre Christmas has been amazing.
Dont you feel this cuddly warmth when Christmas is near?

Anyway
My family has ths tradition of waiting till the clock strikes 12 and we sit around on the floor around the Christmas tree and unwrap what we got for each other.
This year was extra fun because we each have our own suprise gift.

& I know Im going to have an awesome time singing, dancing, jumping, and shedding tears of pure blissful joy for this one true person in church tomorrow.

This year has truly been an eye opener for me.
I am not saying this in a cliched way.

I choose not to disclose it but i can tell you,
I've been through alot. and not at the most perfect timing.

& I am grateful because He has been there for me.
& all i had to do was have a little faith.

I thank you so much and pray that others are as privilaged as I am to have known you.
Truly you are amazing in so many way we cannot say.
& no matter how much people testify or mention of your awesomely great works,
that even so is not enough to portray what you have gave me until this day.
Because if only they knew, if only they knew what i am talking about;
oh, you have been simply amazing.
I felt you, all the way. & I didnt have to worry because you,
You were right there. Just there.

Saturday we had a Christmas celebration at my place :)
Turkey with cranberry !

Scheduled post:

College is different. So so much different from high school.
It isnt as simple as having laid out a few streams for you to pick.
College is so so much harder.

Months and weeks of pondering what i want and what reality can give me,-
Okay time to unravel things; my true passion was actually journalism because i love the whole thing.
I may not know the whole system or how it works but Im willing to learn everybit of it.
Nevertheless it is still (just) an interest, and something im afraid to take because Im not entirely a risk taker. I still love it. & Im thankful actually that BRATs can offer me that temporarily.

I knew i could never really pursue journalism,
I grew interest in Law and decided to go for it.
After research and enquiries about it i realised that i had to go UK to study and no i cannot afford that!
I know that you can do it all here but Its not going to be easy, working and studying.
& they said that the gov prefers us to go UK to study and come back.

I’ve registered.
I was looking at the subject list.
You either pick subjects that lead you to science or you loose science.
Its not high school where you pick Bio and Accounts together.
I’ve decided not to do science but honestly I’ll miss it. Not for the sake of kiasuness and trying to boast that by being a science student Im “better” or whatever you might think,
I’ll miss Bio the most. I really would.
I was actually considering Bio med or Bio tech but then i would have to take Chemistry too.
Althought the thought of it is really cool, Im not sure if it really would suit me best.
Maybe I’ll get a Bio book to read :D

Also, i would miss Add Math! I like the whole thrill of understanding and getting the questions right.
To sum it,
I’ll miss Add Math, Bio and Sejarah.
Lillian calls me a nerd but she actually misses it too :P but not Bio she misses Chemistry.

& the both of us are pursuing the same course too.
I know it may suprise people of what we are taking because its a little off from “what we always wanted to be”
But sometimes you’ve got to have a reality check.
I dont really want to elaborate much because i fear of offending people.

When does college start for me?
In exactly 13 days.
I’ll be starting college within less than a month of finishing SPM.

the IN Crowd (literary) , Singaporean youth journalist i met last Monday.

Last mon i went to Menara Star with my other Sepilok Brats to meet the In Crowd.
They were all younger than me +_+
the oldest was only 16 !
okay thats because IN is only open for teens from 13-16 years.
But Im impressed with what they can produce,
They have a weekly 16page spread in the Newspaper all writen by them.
Of course there are more lah not only those four girls above there.
It was good to hang out with them and everyone got along well.

Everyone asked why i didnt bring the dSLR,
I was lazy to carry it around and besides,
who needs to when you have 3 other friends with dSLRs :D

After that a bunch of us headed to One Utama.
We took one car, a proton.
8 teens.
6boys 2 girls.
Still we managed!
but we came bursting out of the car with pins and needles.

IN gave each of us a cap and a pen, i wanted to keep the cap and it couldnt fit in my bag,

Right after that i went over to USJ to reunite with my high school friends!
seriously i havent seen most of them since the day SPM ended!
We went to HanQi's for a horror movie.
Amythyvile or something like that.
Okay lah, prefer Quarantine, more to shout about-literary.
Went to Melur's for yumcha then a whole bunch of girls slept over at Kay's
while the guys slept over at HanQi's.

The next day we ruled over USJ 18's basketball court.
It felt SO SO good to finally get to play again
I think its been 3 months?

We should definitely go for more basketball while we have the time people!

BRATs part 3

Still in day two, after visiting the Rainforest Discovery Centre,
We quickly packed for our 3days 2night trip in the campsite.

We took a 5km hike which was 3whole hours.
3hours or muddy ground, up and down hills, tiger leeches and sandflies.
I had 9 leeches on me,
At first I was freaked out by it but eventually I got over it and enjoyed rolling it into a bundle and pulling it away.
Its sort of slimy and it they don’t like suck on your blood within the first 10 seconds.

There was this HUGE leech on the back of my hand and I couldn’t roll it off,
So I asked Adrian the videographer to help me take it off,
He ended up filming me in my misery and then only took the leech off,
Still no bite.
I haven’t been bitten to the extend of bleeding but those who have said that they don’t feel it at all.
And I heard they only suck bad blood? Or are you guys just messing with me.

No pictures of my leechy friends.
Oh at night in the tent, Sonia, Kah Mun and I were visited by 2 leeches too.
One hanging on our tent and one that suddenly dropped on me.

Next day, my group went to Kampung Asam.
The place reminds me of where the people in “Waterworld” lived in.
Everywhere surrounded by sea and living on wooden floors where you can literary see fishes in the holes.

I scaled and removed fish guts.

From one of the houses I spotted 3 girls roaming around.
I went up to them and ask them to smile for the camera and had a small chat with them.
They were a really happy bunch and didn’t show any sign of
“I really hate it here” emotion.
They became the stars of our trip there because they were too adorable and friendly.

Gilang was the youngest and smiled the most

We went into another house to learn how to make keropok!

This morning we finally went to play basketball.
I havent touched it in months!

We headed to Rainforest Discovery Centre on the second day.
I really enjoyed it.
We had Kim as our tour guide and she intro-ed to us loads of different trees, plants, flowers, herbs etc.

I liked the twinning branches and the bird-like leaves.

And my favourite part was when we got to walk at the canopy walk.
Real cool because we were seriously sooooooo high probably around the emergent levels.
And you could overlook the really cool place.
I could hear hornbills but I couldn’t spot one. :(
We climbed to the top and when you just stood still with your eyes closed you could feel the whole structure wobbling a little because of the vibrations.

The bridge was freaky!

Random things you might not know about me;

1) Ive always wanted a nice button jacket sort of blazer-ish, I found it once and fell in love with it on the spot, a week later I couldn’t find it anymore. :(
I have a thing for nice jackets

2) I wished we had winter cause I like the idea of wearing knee high boots and thick jackets with a scarf.
GOD I think I like the attires made for winter.

3) I am good at art ( I know, dam perasan to say this)
I have (let me count) won 8 art competitions in which one was state level.
Somehow I slowed down but I still love it.

4) I know every Westlife song by heart (before the band broke up).
I went to their charity concert before too heh.

5) I am very kiam siap.

6) I have a thing against the combo of mini skirts and fitted spaghetti tops. (note: I didn’t say all sleeveless tops)

7) I think powerless coloured contacts are stupid.

8) I find guys in semiformal attire extremely hot!

9) I am not a must-have-all-the-new-high-tech-gadgets person.

10) I have zero knowledge about cars except the cars I owned or some of my friend's.
I like small cars.

11) I like candid black and white pictures of people.

12) I like being busy.

13) I think I work hard to get what I want. If I deserve it, I deserve it.

14) I find blogging therapeutic.

15) I dislike oranges.

16) I don’t like overly competitive people.

Hello people,

I realise all i talk about is BRATs for these few days.
i'll sidetrack abit today.

I was browsing through this random blog and i was trying to get the blogger's name and started complaining that he/she didnt mention his/her name anywhere.

I realised,
I dont either.
HAHA

I mean yeah my chatbox has my name and it doesnt take a genius to figure out the person replying comments is the blogger,
but how about those who cant see chatbox or uses a nickname.

I should really put an intro soon.

This end year has been a rough one,
No its not just on the surface,
its much much more,
more than any of you might know because I prefer to keep it to myself.
Its been hard especially at times where decision making is crucial.
It is the time i have to realise its time to take control and revamp things.

There are so so many reasons for me to feel negative right now,
too many;

but right now,
im okay.

Im not sure how many posts will it take me to sum up my experience in BRATs but here goes number 1.

I had to wake up as early as 3am on Friday morning cause we had to be at the airport at 5am.

I wasn’t in the most jolly happy mood because of some personal issues that day,
I grouped with the Taiping BRATs and felt so lost.
Thanks to Louise, Jenani and Wan Hong for being so nice to me. :)
I sat in the plane with Jenani and Louise watched Heroes on my mp4 and slept.
The plane ride was really slow.

We reached Labuk B&B, where we were gonna stay. (far from hotel standards)
The room reminds me of hostels.
We had a whole um, cabin-ish place to ourselves with the outdoor common room.
And most of us had to share 1 bathroom.
No toilet paper, no soap etc, and no heater!
Yes I bathed cold water everyday.

Oh, they took away our phones too and at first it was quite a bummer,
But later on I felt it very liberating and I think that was the best thing.

I was in the photography group and I loved it all the way.
It was funny because
my group love taking photos,
my group had all the best cameras,
my group was the free-est of all the other groups,
so my group camwhored the most.

Don’t you guys realise we have the most camwhore pictures?
Haha.

Anyways on the first day photography and half of print went to the Orang Utan’s Rehab centre and here are some pictures. :)

Still woozy doozy so I’ll just have a short update on BRATs.
This year they splitted all 31 of us into 3 groups of our choice.
Print, video and photography.

I got so hyped up at the sound of it because I was looking forward for the photography bit.
Thank goodness I took the dSLR this time.
My group had 8 photographers (minus seniors) in which 4 had dSLRs which made it so fun because I was the most inexperienced one among them.
Learnt much and gah I still cant shake off the vibes.

My group was the bomb okay :P
We were busy during our outings/trips but,
during camp we didn’t have our laptops so we couldn’t do much so we mostly had 10 minutes discussion before floating off to some random chat or playing cards. (ha-ha!)
But of course we had to complete 8 slides in one day when we finally got back to Labuk.
Still we made it lah.

Took some awesome camho shots on the last day which I will be uploading from my camera and other’s soon.

Oh yeah, Mei Chin says I always carry my black Nike bag around
& Finaz remembers me as the black Nike-brown converse girl.
Oh yeah. Haha

BTW;
i was applying medication on my sand fly bites and i didnt believe i only had 36 bites.
i re counted and i had................

63 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

No wonder i won "Most bitten by insect BRAT"
& i got a swap for that.

I heard they said sand fly bites last for weeks.

I am such in this zone right now that im finding it hard to get it in words.

BRATs year end camp at Sepilok, Sabah is (hands down) the best camp I’ve ever attended.
Besides the hospitality of the people along the way, the proper plannings, the never ending feedings and of course the omg most awesome people I will ever meet all over Malaysia from Taiping’s, Penang’s and Kajang’s workshops (and others) ;

You’ve made Swinging in Sepilok some heck load of an experience.

I came back all bubbly blabbering away to my parents and friends that asked how was camp.
I honestly can tell you, no words can actually sum what these 5 days have done to me.
And 5 days is NOT enough,

I am still lost for words.

Sepilok was awesome.
& its something that no one can take away from me.

This year i feel like ive not accomplish alot of things,
one thing i hate about myself is that i tend to leave things unfinished.
not in the procastinating way,
its the sort of way that i have to make a choice;

It feels like i can turn 180 degrees this time because this is sort of a new start.

By the time you read this i am already in Sabah or on the way.
I've never been there and i think i'll like it.
i just have this feeling.
although im not entirely in this mood of go-go-go!
because there's so many things (actually one or two) to ponder about.

Like how im afraid today (as in now when im typing this post) i'll be the last.
But somehow i have this tremendous strong faith that this is going to be fine.

I had a short get-out just now,
My late transport came at 7.30pm and we walked around,
mostly to get my last minute stuff for tomorrow's trip
and to get this um stuff that i cannot reveal.

hey the pancakes there are actually pretty good!
by the time we were done it was about 10 pm
and all the shops were closing i was getting so pissed because why do shops close so early nowadays?!
then i realise i always go out on weekdays these days and shops do close at that time.

I was told to be back by 12,
Im guessing 12 is my curfew since its never really clear,
yah anyways it feels so much different when your done with SPM.
its like you've stepped and evolved into another dimension.

Im feeling a mixture keberatan-ness and excitement for tomorrow's trip.

Ohh let me tell you about our adventurous day yesterday.
We took the KTM to Midvalley in the morning which was totally fine,
BUT on the way back we decided to go back during peak hours because we wanted to roam longer.
Instead of the expected 40 minutes ride, we took about 90 minutes.
We had to miss 2 trains at one point because we were already sandwiched.
But yes adventurous enough and I still cant understand why its so much easier to get on the train in Singapore.
Malaysians are probably more uncivilized.

We watched Twilight.
I had zero expectations and I only came out with a 7/10 for it.
Its alright, nothing I would re watched in an instant.
I bet the book would be better cause there were so many parts where it was just so blah and you don’t get how and why, (although I never read it)
I wouldn’t mind reading it.

They mentioned it being the successor of Harry Potter but no way.
Harry Potter beats it four folds!

Like what Nicole said, and I quote;

True right,

Somehow today i wasnt in this going out mood up to a point i really didnt mind staying home.
But i slapped myself (virtually) and decided this time im going to enjoy myself.

Infact,
i think these few days have been one of the best ive ever felt after a long time.
Today, we laughed and screamed like lunatics but its something i'll like to remember.

Quarantine was so thrilling!
Although i dont usually watch thrillers and horrors in cinemas because there isnt any "pause" button or an exit route (okay technically there is)
At the beginning it was so pointless and XinYi even questioned if we were in the right cinema,
When it started getting scary i looked over my left and saw everyone all calm and collected while me and Lynette were the only crazy people holding on to our dear life.

Half an hour later i could hear Lillian and Xin Yi screaming, Nicole hiding under her jacket, Lynette closing her eyes, Rabin shouting and HanQi inhumanly eating his popcorns.

The movie wouldnt have been so much fun without the funny antics of the cinema people.

We walked around and every baby with mother, blinking light, funny gruntings we heard made us thinking of rabies.

I liked today and spending time.
Although it may sometimes feel im out of my comfort zone-
Things surprises me.

I was this freaking near to losing my nike purse, ic, exam slip, driving license and money.
Thank God for the boy who i thought was a "rabies"

Ah, the post spm mood is kind of here.
Today when it striked 3.15pm pure science students can officially say we're free.

I here loads of different plans from different people and we're going out later too :)
It feels quite tiring though when i have to go over to people's house
cause its insane for me to go home (at Lillian's again)

Had breakfast with caddy this morning at MCD and saw Min dearest! with Justin and Eugene, Kenneth, Jeremy, Chris and er some other guy walk by.
Gosh it reminds me, we need gathering asap!

Im quite bummed though of how everyone is going to be away so soon.

I cant believe SPM is ending
Actually we sorta treated like it did end yesterday hah.

No more science ever (?) ever ever (since I most probably am not taking it in college-why am I even in science stream right waste my brain cells)
As the week progressed, it became harder to get yourself to sit down and read what you’ve already read x546764457487.

Did I mention how disappointed we were because of all our hard work of memorizing nilais, akta’s, dasar’s for moral but no akta or dasar came out.

Have you heard of the incident where this Malay zoo caretaker in Singapore provoked this tiger (while feeding them) because he had a bad day, got attacked, tried to escape and was stopped by a few other tigers and was eaten/teared/ripped apart by them and this was all caught on video that all happen just last week?

Yes this was the disgusting crucial video we were trying to hunt down but its taken down from everywhere.

We talked and planned where to go for dinner,
At one point it was just the two of us which felt completely miserable but for the sake of it we were so determine to just have a nice costly (not mamak/kopitiam/mcd) dinner and dinner would still be good.
but tada Darren and Rabin (who suggested) who just finished playing ball picked us and Sueen joined us!
We had a cosy dinner upstairs Las Caretas for a few hours.
Random conversations just kept coming like a free flow of water and this was just what we needed after anti social days.

Hopped to Baskins then to Tanjung with more people.

Because it was getting a little late, I randomly slept over at Lillian’s.
Its funny cause we know each other for so long but only sleepover now.
I had such a hard night because I was trying not to spill (I didn’t)

A moment ago I had something to blog about but it fluttered away.

I’ve got my packing list for my sabah trip which im not to hyped for (yet !),
Its all this exams I tell you makes you feel antisocial.

So among the few are,

1) Sunblock / sunscreen SPF 15 !
Haha! They specified.

2) bathing suits/ Swimming suits
Gasp gasp are we going to the beach (!!!!)

3) Hiking shoes
Which I don’t have.

4) Binoculars!

5) Leech socks
Which I am yet to know what is it

6) Sleeping bags
Im guessing we’re gonna camp.

7) Bandanna
The only bandanna I have is the face of Avril Lavigne I got from purchasing her first album (blush blush) and no way am I bringing that!

8) Insect repellant and baby oil to protect against sandflies.

This time it does sound pretty outdoor,
And its in this remote area in Sabah.

Its another day,
And today is a good day.

Today was so funny,
Who would expect 80% or the hall sleeping during such an exam.
I sat behind fanning myself with my exam paper because the sun was so scorching hot at 3.00pm.
I couldn’t sleep so I looked at everyone sleeping. +_+
I tell you I saw Lillian sleeping soundly and suddenly woke up after 15 minutes fanning herself with a agitated face. ( I think she woke up cause it was too hot)
Sigh, I cant even sleep.

I couldn’t fall asleep so I stared into space, doodled on my papers and looked around until I think the invigilator thought I was trying to peek at people’s paper.

OH, the whole time today the Phineas and Ferb cartoon series song was stuck in my head because ive been watching it everyday :|.
So ngam my dinner time mah.
And did you know Phineas’s head is shaped like a “P” and Ferb is a “F”.
HAHAHA

So far so good for the exams,
I knew SPM was going to end fast,
But never this fast.
And it’s the process that’s painful.

Im surprised with myself,

It was raining when we finish our moral paper at 5.00pm.

my mom had some pastries in the car she bought and i asked if this was lunch because that's what i ask when i come home from school (whats for lunch)
And she said its dinner and i actually wanted to correct her but realise oh,

I honestly don’t remember when was the last time i didn’t turn on the computer this often.
Partially because whenever the computer is on I tend to give myself “10minutes” break which end up to a whole half hour of nonsense.
I think since SPM started I’ve turn on the computer less than 5 times.
Speaking of, 6 papers down!
Only science related + accounts papers to go.
No more moral OMG.

The weather was just so soooooo cuddly.

Its week number 47 for this year pepos,
Next week will sort of be the “last” week. (accounts doesn’t count-flicks)

I am torn between what to do after SPM because you know how we wanna do this that this that.
Where on earth has time gone to.

It feels great and liberating though, of the thought of everything.

Anyways, 4 subjects down and 7 to go.

My place is one of the suckiest places you can ever hope to get.

Plus having exams in the afternoon is x5454356 more dreadful its so hot and humid and agitating.
Those who are fortunate enough who think they're suffering from the diseased weather, think again!
i look to my left and see everyone under the glorious fan and shielded from the horrendous glare of the sun.
Im sitting behind the hall so i can literary see the Yin and the Yang of the hall.
the super bright lighted row (mine) and the other dark cooler FOUR other rows.
this is how bad it is.

Rachel says i get more light, CONTRADICTING to that, i am a right hander so i have this shadow when i write.

Did i mention, i have a sudden weird attack of God knows what last week.
Didn feel well around my upper abdomen so i went to the docter's.
He checked and was actually very shocked that i had so much of wind in my stomach.
It was infact pretty serious that i was on the verge of getting gastric because of too much wind.
dont ask me why this can happen.

Even for the past few examing days i have to go to the toilet a few times due to diarrhea because there's too much wind.

I seriously never knew it could happen. :|
who knew really.

I am now on medication to er, control the amount of wind?

I actually have much more to say but since im excited to watch Grey's Anatomy season 5 i'll come back later.

Last day with people in school;
it was nice having loads of people at school, form 4's and form 3's.
at least the school wasnt dead zombied form 5 only environment type.
i remember feeling like "aw, look at those form 5's....."
And Lillian who found a sentence i wrote in my old Blogdrive saying, "I wonder how we would be like in form 5".

Today everyone just sat together at assembly ignoring the speeches,
Omg the form 5 prefects got to sit down. HAHA.
Had form 3 perform their acts from the after PMR activities which reminds me of our own days.

We just started the "camwhore" mood in the middle of assembly (when it was over of course) as shown above and you could see people taking out their camera's here and there.

Our usual recess table got robbed by form 4's (roar! trying to kick us to the curb is it!) but we still dined together, supposingly with the guys but our number of girls occupied the whole place they had no where to sit. AW.

We were suppose to be at the Bilik Wawasan for some taklimat but we were just at the corridor taking pictures and mingling around, even the teacher's just stood there looking at us letting us have our moment when they knew they had to shoo us upstairs, after probably an hour they finally told us to go.

Everyone was in a jolly happy mood.
Even the guys were vain.

Loads of photos but right now,
i'll let it sink in that SPM is exactly 4 days away.

YES I AM SITTING NEAR THE WINDOW,
but thank God! the wall is shielding me from sun.

I really sense that there will be a new flu spreading solely on heat disease.
Maybe they’ll call it Sun Flu.

GOSSSSHH its so darn hot at home we have to resolve to on-ing the aircond every hour O_O
Just the 3 of us at home, the bill is already sky high.

My room is so hot that if I leave my comp on during the day it offs by itself because of overheating.
And this happens regularly.
I have no choice but to leave my room fan on when no one is inside, opening my toilet door for ventilation and such.

I usually bathe twice a day (3 if I go school ! 8D ) but now im occasionally taking 4 baths a day just to wipe of the heat.

I wont be surprise if the world ends anytime soon because global warming has finally caught up to us.
Insaf already can!

On a happy/not-so-happy note;
Exactly a month from now I and other accounts taking people will finish spm!
Hooheehooooo.
Hmm lets see 10 days to spm!

I wonder what everyone will be doing the day they finish their paper.
I don’t even know what im doing.

My eyesight is getting worse,
For those who doesn’t know, I do wear specs but only at night and occasionally.
Not short sighted or long sighted, just for my astig.
It works sorta like sunglasses but a night time sunglass.
Its quite funny tho cause it comes and goes like since im studying at night more often it comes, but when im not it goes.
The last time I wore it so often was during PMR,

So yeah, nowadays I have to wear them or sunglasses when im driving too cause I cant stand the scorching sun piercing through my eyes even on non-sunny days.

Ya allah, why so lucky number.

Okay so most people would come to conclusion that High School Musical 3 would suck, but I didn’t think so.
Infact I expected myself to like it and I did.
But I would also say that its because it applies to leaving school and a lot of parts fitting in to how we feel, or probably to me lah.

Most people might say there were too much singing but HELLO !
Its High School MUSICAL don’t you expect a musical ?!
Don’t complain because the title very well warned you already.

Of course there were bits were it was a little childish but really, what did you expect right ?

So apart from all that, I really liked the movie.
Gosh! I felt so sad because the thought of leaving school is kicking in yet again.
Go and roll your eyes!
It seems to me that the only emotional people that actually minds leaving school like me are Lillian and Lynette.
I wouldn’t be surprise if you found 3 of us sobbing away on the last days of school.

I cant really tell why is it such a big deal of teens our age watching the movie though O_O
Even the guy at the ticket counter looked at me when I said I want tickets for HSM.

Sigh I don’t mean to sound all whinny but really is it so important to look cool.

ANYWAYS, I drove to Xin Yi’s house (with my mom beside me of course) and she drove us to the movies!

Later on she drove us to account tuition where we had educational Mrs Ow talks and a nice nice surprise :D

Next week- 7th Nov is going to be the sorta official last day of school.
No I didn’t get my days wrong, I assumed its Sunday so can consider next week lah.

The question is,
Are we satisfied with what we’ve accomplish in school (??)

Cause honestly there’s so many empty spaces I wanted to fill but realise I don’t have the chance anymore.

Its so sad!

Of course there are spots you have to give up and you cant have everything but the thought of what could have been is just really really sad.

I’ve always felt like I haven’t done enough.

On a much lighter note,
After much decision making and thought.

I am heading down to Sabah for the BRATs end year trip this December 5th.
It’s a whole 5days –OMG
Where my 3hour flight starts at 7.15am in the morning.
Gosh imagine what time I have to wake up +_+
I googled the place im heading and its pretty urm, rural-ish and im hoping I get to play with Orang Utans (!!!!!!!!!!!)
My mom told me I never been to Sabah before when all this while I thought I have.

I was this near to not going because of money issue, ( it costs a bomb ok!) but after much encouragement my parents said its something worth that amount of money and experience.

And knowing me I have made a lot of half hanging decisions in my life which I will not repeat!
Example:
- Not retaking my grade 8 piano O_O (although this one cannot escape cause I really couldn’t)
- Stopping Taekwondo at brown belt, this one was just plain stupid. I was so dedicated to going Taekwondo every week in my club last time but wasted every effort by stopping before I got the black belt -_-

See got all the opportunity but never take.

You know I get irritated by indecisive people but actually I am one too. T_T

Today was Azzila’s open house for raya !
I was home alone wondering what I would dig up for lunch when ring ring someone decided to pick me !
The foodddddd was soooo good!
Authentic home cook raya food, and I now know how shallow I am to raya cookies.
We were happily watching Moment of Truth till it was time to leave.
It was really nice of Azzila to invite us over. Kudos to you!

Got to go for a little spin (I drove!) around my area because…. I can. HUHUHU.
My parents went out when I got home. -_- and I thought I had to go home before dinner because my mom likes me home for dinner,
Turns out I had to dig my own dinner when I could have went out to dinner with super caddy because my parents happily drove away to my club to ber-rekreasi.

Its getting more and more kanchiong!
Getting abit sick of One Tree Hill because I think its going on for too dam long its getting old,

So there must have been some complications in my postal address because my certs for the previous workshop hasnt arrived either.
see Kota Kemuning problem again.
I know i sound like i always critisize Kota Kemuning but really its a nice place to stay in. :)

So yeah, should i have been lazy and NOT check my email,
i would miss this super cool opportunity !

This is sorta like a exclusive workshop and guess where its gonna be!

anyhoooos,
skipped school today and followed my mom to Pyramid because its Sushi King's member's week !
All sushi's for only RM2 per plate except some selected ones.
Our bill was only RM25 but if it was the original price it would add up to RM 50 ++.
i think we ate 11 plates.
No its not those basic tuna mayo or egg sushi's,
We had loads of choices from tempura to salmon, from the orange fish eggs! to unagi's and the baby octapus.
We might be going back again ;D

To all member's its only till this thursday and it is SOO not a waste.

Driving exam tomorrow and before this i was all easy breezy and beautiful but im starting to feel it now.
I was quite calm at the idea i get to take the exam with XinYi then we could go over the "first we adjust seats then front and side mirror then... etc"

BUT lo and behold,

My exam is in the morning and her's is in the afternoon.
No one to talk to. O_O

Please cross your fingers from 8.00am-12.00pm (i dunno when's my turn) as of today and only today for my sake.
I will come visit you and attend your parties more freely.

Pray for me that i wont get slippery nervous hands, sudden impaired nervous system that i press the accelerator too much, that i meet a dog on the road that wants to prove that road is rightfully his, that i do not knock the tiang (oh tuhan) and that i dont mati engine.

I don’t really have much to say but I just miss um blogging.

I feel like a ticking bomb because I can snap anytime.
Like I did today and I cant believe I just ignored the obvious fault.
But i left my ego behind after that of course.
No it has nothing to do with a boy/boys.

Im not sure if im even cranky now.

You know I honestly believe we are all wannabe’s.
Don’t deny it!
Im not going to, because I am too.

I guess it depends how we take it and use it.
Its either going to take us somewhere or just make us annoying.
How do we tell if we’re getting annoying?
I really don’t know but I guess its when we get desperate.

There’s so many things to be inspired by and look up to.
Friends, prodigies (sighs).
Maybe some of us wouldn’t realise it yet but i know it happens when we start staring, acting, behaving and looking head to toe at a particular.

Is it good wanting to be somebody else?
I guess there isn’t any harm unless the person is the type that gets so annoyed because he/she claims they have a “trademark” identity sort.
Nobody has a “trademark” and nobody has the right to pin point anyone.
Out of the 6 billion people I honestly don’t believe that one person has a significant “trademark”.

Wanting to be someone doesn’t necessarily mean looking and dressing the part;
Personally I think being inspired and motivated out of the idea is the way to go.
Of course im not trying to speak highly and all snooty of myself,
I do envy people for appearance, character and their charm.
It is hard though to accept that those things don’t come by in a snap if I start behaving like someone else.
You can’t just photocopy the exact same joke told the exact same way and hope people will fall head over heals for you.

I think its how we take it in and shape it right.

So arent we all wannabe’s?
Is it just self denial that we cant admit we are and tell ourselves we are so dam original.
Is it so hard to tell someone, you like who they are instead of working around the bush and being a clone and claim you were there first.
Is it so hard to admit that we are being inspired to be you rather pretending we already are you.

I guess its always nice to tell someone you think you like their new bag, that they look nice today, that you’re happy they won a game, their good at what they do, that you like who they are.

Beating around the bush trying to be them is probably harder.

So why do we try so hard but cant admit the fact that we are egoistic enough to say “I want to be like him/her” and instead portraying ourselves as plastics.

Yeah I am a wannabe in so many ways more than one.
I am inspired, jealous, encouraged and envious by the people around me and im not afraid to be vulnerable and admit that they are better than me.
Of course it sucks but so what,

Hello hello.
Its October and hitting the two digit month.
The year is ending.
Crazy crazy crazy !

Its crazy how a seventeen year old has to make a decision on what to pursue for a career for the rest of their lives.
Most of the time I hear people saying they would be A but they end up being B.

The form 5’s have been bunked upstairs block C and it feels kinda nice.
Going to school isn’t that bad because we get work sheets and get to do our own revision instead of pointless talks.

Driving exam this coming Monday!
Along with Xin Yi and Jo Lyn.
I really cannot afford to fail or else I can only retake a week before SPM which is insane and postponing my exam after SPM is going to be also insane because of $ and ive finish my max lessons.
So I cant help but “pau”-ing although I really don’t want to and not the least bit proud of it.
I wouldn’t mind failing and retaking but this time I cant afford it. :(

Everyday is somehow our last few days in high schools and its just really sad.
That place near the stairs of block B ground floor has been invaded by us since we were Form 1 and I wonder who’s going to sit there next time.

On a better note;
I couldn’t tahan and went to Summit to buy The Other Bolelyn Girl.
Excited!

I’ve yet to watch it so no spoilers!

school reopens and studies resume (for those like me who gave myself a one week break pats pats)

exam results ! no no trial's results! although i dunno why but i keep forgetting we even had trials. :\

less outings :(

At least we get to save our money and have some big big shopping spree later on.
Not that i spent it this holidays, ive actually wanted to buy myself something but i couldn’t find anything :(

I actually wonder what’s the average allowance 17 year olds get.
I get RM100 a month and averagely I usually get to save RM 50 or more (depending on how many people’s birthdays) in a month.
I actually found out my allowance is somewhat less than some of my friends.
Adding that I bring home food- because I HATE canteen food I save more money!

And and ah although most of the time I gobble up my food before recess in class and people see me not eating during recess they accuse me for dieting and gimme a look. :(

Short post:

On Monday,
Lillian, Nicole, Xin Yi and I went to OU.
Walked around, dropped by Lillian’s place to for awhile while we had a nice not so long pillow talk ( we must do it more often ok! ) until we forgot the time thus, we or I the one who bugged everyone to be on time, was late. (for steamboat)
However I wasn’t all that late because only Tze Yin and Lynette were early.

Sueen and I had a nostalgic talk on how USJ 21’s steamboat was our meeting spot during form 3 or any sort of occasion,
Then we just randomly suggested we do it again after Bio 3 and tada, we had 3 tables of noisy people.

The funniest thing was there were about 5 camera flash ongoing and I wonder if people were annoyed.

I bumped into Eng Khim again!
My fellow BRATs friend whom I met at prefect’s interschool and the steamboat place yesterday. Haha.

I feel like running a marathon.

Random food related post;

Did you know?;

1. I dislike noodles except fettucinni, wan tan mee or pan mee. I absolutely HATE bihun (!!). I dislike most noodles.

2. If my plate was filled with food, 80% of it is lauk and 20% rice.
NOT that im trying to cut carbs (please) but my family naturally works like that. Ask any of my friends that ate at my house before. My mom makes fried rice in which most of it is prawns, potatoes, egg etc etc. and very little rice.

3. I totally LOVEEEE eating si ham! Fresh boiled si ham dipped in thai chili sauce. Wahhhh drools everywhere. And yeah still that fresh blood aroma :P
BUT according to some certain research blood type A (which is mine) cant eat lots of si ham or else we will die. :(

4. My family has about 4 containers (big enough to fit a mini sized cake) of coffee. My whole family are coffee consumers and each of us has our own likings.
And we are picky and cranky when our coffee stash runs out and we cannot drink them. roar!

5. I have found a brilliant technique of brewing coffee! Actually ready made coffee that you just have to add water to.
Use a fork to stir your cup circularly. This way all the sugar drops will settle at the bottom and not dissolve in the coffee. I do not like sweet coffee.

6. My dad calls “Dunkin Donuts” as “Donald Ducks” & “Fish and Chips” as “Fish and Tips” although he knows clearly it is not called that way. -_-

7. I like bitter things like bitter gout ! (hi-5s Lillian) and bitter chocolate is the best thing (!!) I hate white chocolate.

8. My family has to eat roti canai for breakfast at least once a week. We are addicted.

9. My mom had a mini vege/fruit garden and we consume them. till this date she has long beans, ciku, bitter gout, basil, cili padi, spring onions, and some vege I forgot the name. just to name a few.

10. Recently I prefer oats and Post’s cereal than the usual koko crunch.

11. I want a bread maker.

12. I like eating plain Jacob biscuits. :D

13. occasionally I like wholemeal bread more than plain bread.

14. I like garlic ! and sometimes soup with a little ginger.

After today’s very crazy Add Math paper I came home feeling super relieve.
Paper3 is like a tiny speck of Add Maths ( ha-ha talk somemore la after get B)

AND I HEARD GOT PEOPLE RECEIVE ADD MATHS PAPER BEFORE TODAY.

I know im a cheater for receiving Physics, Chem (only paper3 beams proudly) and Bio leaks but wah!!!!
WHOLE ADD MATH PAPER OKKK.

Sadly I didn’t have time to re-check my Add Math paper 2 today and was stuck on this very question.
Was happily doing solutions of triangles feeling contented I “could get” the answer and suddenly realizing I was wrong because 120 degrees and 100 degrees don’t add up to a straight line.
Nuuuuuuuuuuuu.

2hours and 30 minutes aint enough and we should be given at least another 15 minutes!

My poor dog is yet sick again
SIGH
He has this common-among-shih-tzu’s skin infection thingy.
The other day was his tummy not his tail
We couldn’t detect it cause its hidden right till he didn’t wanna play with me.

So now he has a naked tail.
Shaved it clean cause of nasty infection.
And he made it worse by biting it cause it was itchy.

& now !
He has to wear a cone (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

My mom and I felt bad though cause we laughed so hard at him when he bumped into furniture.
So now he’s giving us the cold shoulder.
Im serious.

Ah time for rest.
We have a few days to goyang kaki before going school for exams.
For some of us we have accounts on Monday.
For the rest Bio only starts on Thursday *stares enviously

So here are a few little things to keep you updated.

1 ) its is the season to watch tv!
- Gossip Girl Season 2 (dam addictive lor even after the first episode)
- Prison Break Season 4
- One Tree Hill Season 6
And possibly Heroes and Grey’s Anatomy.
Although im thankful that one episode comes out per week and I only can download them by the end of the week. So no kacauing my study time. Yay pops confetti
2) I felt nostalgic and tried replaying my piano grade 8 pieces.

3) My sister is coming back on my last week of exams but going back to Singapore a day after my exams. What is this!
4) IN LOVE WITH AYAM PACIK
5) staying away from story books because I have had enough of reading.

Hello hello.

Just a short update.

As you know trials has begun.
Lotsa skipping school and having rest days in between exams like today.

Ive transformed into a antisocial geek and occasionally go bazookas in tuition especially accounts.
There’s just that feeling haha.

Of course Im not the only one.

No popcorns and movie for me on Merdeka eve. :(

The few-times-a-year pest control service came which meant my dog had to be caged.
Out of pity we decided to put him on the mahjong table because he wouldn’t come down.

BUT
He jumped.
The little thing started limping and we were worried sick.
:(
Parents had to attend some Merdeka eve dinner at my club so I was left to babysit him for a few hours that nearly left me in tears on the phone because he looked so sick!

We quickly took him to the vet for check up this morning and thank God no bones broken.
Just mentally shocked and maybe a little muscle strain.

With that said;
Im so sorry LEONA RISHA.
Im so so sorry I couldn’t accompany and celebrate your birthday/surprise you/countdown with you.
I promise I will get a car + license for your birthday next year and drive all the way to your house next year!
Happy birthday again :)

Trial’s times table is quite funny.
Next week we’re only having EST which is not study-able.
So its considered as “no exams”.

It took me quite some time to convince mom that I do want to cut my hair short.

Right before I went to the hair saloon we went to the dentist.
While I was getting my teeth drilled and filled the dentist which is quite um close to us was telling me what long hair I have.
My mom told her I was just about to cut it after this and she (dentist) objected saying I shouldnt or it will be a waste. :(

Then we headed to the saloon where the person cutting my hair is also very close to us.
She asked me a gazillion times if I really wanted to cut my hair.
Then came her customer to witness the process and all of them looking at my hair fall away.

Well in the end I did like it and I would have liked it to be a little more shorter but my ma couldn’t stand it so haha yeah.

I like it :)
And nope I didn’t cry (question a lot of people have been asking me haha)

I definitely feel my head being lighter and I still cant get use to the short hair thing.
Like arching my head back so my hair wont get wet whilst bathing or pulling my hair back when im sleeping.
I still tend to do it naturally and realise there’s nothing left HAHA.

FYI: I NEVER had short hair in my entire 17 years of life.
Ever since my hair grew long it stayed long.

And because I know the aunty guess how much it was to cut my hair!

I used to think I had the balls to go to the dentist.
But after today there’d be a slight phobia factor there.
Had 3 fillings and I have tooth decay :(
A little sore but its okay.
Saw Shan Yong which was very surprising.

My driving instructor pestered me to take my driving exams next Monday.
I was this close !
But im afraid of juggling between driving and trials.
So I chose not to, and take driving exams after trials.
Why rush right right right.
To bribe or not to bribe.
I would choose the latter of course.

What I realise is a lot of us like to be ignorant.

Like for example,

Yesterday brother Shing Vee picked Lynette and I and brought us to DJ to eat dim sum!
Loads of people and we had to que but the food was good.
Ate a lot of prawns courtesy of Lynette.
After stuffing ourselves with good expensive food (haha) we opt to go the Starbucks at Taipan so we could hang out.
i didn’t know they had games to play at Starbucks lor!
After rounds of Uno, poker and Wiss Toy (another version of Uno stacko) I gave Shing Vee a hug because it was the last time I see him for a long long time :(

He’s off to Hong Kong by the way.

Driving was pretty good.
And i can actually take my exams before trials,
should i, should i not.

The most embarrassing thing was,
We were approaching the guard house when i assume the guard would press the button for the bar to go up just like how i went out.
But i think he recognises me ( -_- ) , smiled, mimic me driving and didnt press the button!
so i was in the midst of thinking if i should hold the clutch and break or just go.

Then my engine died.

Right there and then.
dam embarrassing with all those guards having me as their little joke and i think i blocked the car behind me while trying to revive my engine.

sigh sigh.

learned how to park.
